Tutelas EXPLAINED!
I. What is a Tutela?
A Tutela is a spirit of one of the past cats of Tempus. These spirits follow the living like shadows, protecting them like a guardian angel, protecting them the best they can from the bad in the world. A Tutela may speak to a living cat, though through dreams or muffled whispers in the wind. They give grave warnings and prophecies to the Luna or Medicus of the Tempus.
II. The Medicus' Relationsips with a Tutela.
A Medicus is the only cat who can see another persons Tutela, or speak/see a Tutela. While other cats can sometimes see or hear whispers from their Tutela, a Medicus can have full blown conversations. These sightings are rare, but extremely important for the safety of Tempus.
A Medicus apprentice is found if an apprentice can see the Medicus' Tutela. Simple as that.
III. The Lunas Relationships with a Tutela.
A Luna is picked when the past Luna or deputy of the Tempus is attached to a kit/apprentice. This can only be found out through a Medicus or Medicus apprentice. A Luna on a full moon must go to the cliff and spend the night with the past Lunas. If a Luna forgets or falls asleep during the long night a terrible time will come over the Tempus.
